Absolutely, and I think it would be naive to think that a lot of big programs wouldn't do the same.

This is no morality contest, its about winning. There are several coaches that have had instances of less than reputable conduct but are still hired because they are decent. Of course there are limits, e.g. the Art Briles incident of being complicit in covering up sexual assaults -- that would cross a line. But calling escorts may or may not, in this day in age, be an unforgivable trespass in the cutthroat world of college athletics. Idk if it should, provided the coach in question evinces sufficient contrition about his checkered past.

But I agree that this escort thing in combination with the other possible infractions at Ole Miss might make it difficult to hire Freeze even a few years down the line.
