This is the board to discuss SEC football right?
So is he not starting or what?
He was Kiper's #1 projected pick.

saving him for Etling. Who's your backup backup QB?

Been one of our most productive pass rushers, as expected. He gets a QB hurry on like 1/3 of their drop backs. Forced the fumble against OM that Jon Allen returned for a touchdown. He's just a bad man that effects the quarterback

Speaking of QBs, he's projected to have about 5 sacks on the season.
I think Danny should be ok, but to answer, I think it's Mcmilian or Scott.

Yes Tim Williams sucks. LSU really can put their worst lineman on his side to pass block.

Still haven't gotten an answer.
Can't say I'm surprised though.

The answer is ... that you seem to have no idea what football is like in this century. Your "question" is rhetorical, and your assumptions are laughable.
You want to talk about "starters" as if this were the 1950s. Today, football gurus talk about "packages," not "starters." In the NC game last year (you do know what "NC game" means don't you?) the Alabama "starters" played a lot less downs than the rush package.
In summary, your question is meaningless, your understanding is deficient, your troll attempt is weak, and yes... Tim Williams will be drafted at least 50 places before the number of any LSU DL, LB is called. And he is better than LSUs latest-greatest-sure-fire best-ever, Key, who is about the 8th best DE in the SEC.

Our defensive linemen don't tend to record a ton of tackles; just comes with the scheme. As for the sacks he only has 1.5 but according to PFF is among the national leaders in QB pressures.
Ryan Anderson is the "starter" but to this point I'm fairly certain Williams has played a majority of the non-garbage time snaps.

50 places ahead of Beckwith?
What criteria are you using when you claim Williams is better than Key?
So Anderdon starts over Tim?

I've seen them both play.

On Saturday Kiper had him listed as the number 1 LB NFL prospect.
So I guess that's good.
But man yeah can't believe he doesn't have more tackles and Alabama still has their head coach...

Key leads the nation is sacks and has numerous hurries also. Williams has 1.5 and a couple hurries.
One is an every down guy and from what I'm gathering Williams is still more of a specialist.
I was just expecting more #s from Williams this season. I was expecting Arden Key type production from him since he was rumored to be an every down type guy this year.

Sorry Tim Williams disappoints you. Hopefully Bama can recover.
