Just like Auburn deserves the 2004 BCSNC but barely escaped with a 16-13 Sugar Bowl win against a Virginia Tech team led by Bryan Randall. I think VT missed like a 15 yard field goal in that game too btw.

You are such a buffoon, or troll...or both.

They lost by 16, so you think Colt was worth 36 points in that game? You're an idiot.

When Texas played teams with a solid D that year they didn't have real offensive success (scored 13 on Nebraska, scored 16 on Oklahoma).

That Bama team was not losing to Texas whether that paper mache QB stayed in the game or not.

He didn't do any favors to the Texas program. They've yet to recover from that game.

They hadn't been recruiting well for a number of years up to that point. The bottom fell out on them. Had nothing to do with a single player they played against in one game.

I don't think he destroyed that program. But he came pretty close to single handedly winning that football game by knocking out Colt and then getting a pick 6.

One of the single greatest performances I've seen in a MNCG, especially by a DL.

Colt McCoy's dad pulled him from that game to protect his NFL future. Longhorn pussy.

Colt would have crushed them.

AU remains bamas daddy either way though.

You just lost all of your credibility. Everything you say from this point forward means nothing.

yeah why would a team be upset about losing their starting QB early in a championship game

They didn't "lose" Colt. The TX coaches decided to run him into the teeth of one of the nastiest defenses ever...and that D took him out.

Dumb move by Tx.

Auburn may not have beaten USC, but USC wouldn't have ran AU Out of the stadium.

Which is why, as one of your brethren so aptly pointed out earlier this morning, you had to beg your largest donors to buy up large numbers of unsold Iron Bowl tickets in 2013, even after you started the season 5-1.

Our daddy indeed.

And then turned around and basically forced Texas to play his brother.

I would argue Colt's helicopter dad more damage to that program than anyone.

deaderick tried to affect Jefferson's quality of life with a "late" spear in the LSU Bama game game that same 2009 year. I think Bug eyes just looked at the late spear and said that's Bama being Bama.

But in the 2014 lsu bama game lsu's alexander does NOT spear a Bama player but yet a penalty is thrown and Bug Eyes says I have too much bama in me not to help bama win.
