Did Bama finally beat Bama?

Seriously, the loss of Eddie Jackson is far more impactful than most people realize. Alabama's secondary has some weaknesses and the lack of his leadership and experience will be huge.
Fortunately, LSU and auburn are more run oriented, but this makes those two games more dangerous and the idea of stopping someone like Louiville in the playoffs is scary without Jackson.

Nope but LSU is about to beat that arse.
Sorry to hear about Eddie Jackson btw.

We may be able to fill his role with comparable talent, but not experience and leadership, which is what is sorely lacking in our secondary. Hope you're right, but I wouldn't bet that way. The whole secondary needs to bring it up a level from here out.

We realize it. As you said his experience level holds that group together. They are all excellent players but every group needs a leader and he was it on the field anyway.

Bama's through the toughest part of the regular season. Jackson is a huge loss, but it's still probably the best defense in the country.

8 downvotes so far for telling them I hated to hear Eddie Jackson was hurt.

LSU has had 2 long TD passes in 2 games exposing that safety spot on busted converages. If that replacement isn't careful Etling gonna find dupre right over your heads

Danny Etling scares me to death. We haven't played a quarterback as good as Danny. Yep, we are skeered.

Yeah it would suck to give someone credit right? Bama has the best team in college football and the worst sore winning fans. Sad bunch, you guys would loose your minds if LSU beat you.

Agree huge loss for us, our secondary will not be the same without him. Hate it for him too he was having a hell of a season

Sad to see that happen. Hope the kid recovers, is he a senior?

Oh damn, so sorry for him. He can still lead from the sidelines and I'm sure he will. Best of luck to him.

Except he's being replaced by a couple of 4/5 stars.
It's literally next man up at Alabama.

Nothing much to do about it now. Next man up.
