Tough play on that missed call at first. It was not shown but the announcers did say the batter was called out. If that was the case, the call should not have been reversed.

If the umpire called the runner out the 1B has to believe that runner is out and there is no reason to throw to first because he missed the tag. If there was no out called, that is on the 1B. The announcers said umpire called batter out.

It semi reminded me of Corbin's first year when Vandy needed to sweep UT to get to Hoover. Thy swept and Corbin has built a power.

Someone knows their history. That Worth Scott HR in 2003 was as important of a play in Vandy baseball history as any.
