He's made his name from running on Oklahoma's 3rd string in 2013, and since has only been able to beat up on lower tier teams or attrocious P5 defenses in garbage time.

"But but but, he's 6,3 and weighs 240 pounds, you can't stop him once he gets moving"

Right, but he's also desperately slow for a RB and usually can't get moving to begin with unless his offensive line creates a gap the size of the Red Sea after Moses parted it. He provides virtually zero threat on the edge, he has mediocre vision/hands, and he has the agility/footwork of somebody with sandbags tied around their ankles.

I'm not saying he's bad, but let's stop pretending he's any better than an average SEC running back. I can name 8 just in the SEC I would rather have than him.

1.Fournette
2.Chubb
3.Michel
4.Guise
5.Hurd,
6.Collins
7. Webb
8. Williams

So. Nobody is exactly touting him to be that great. What's your point?

His point is that he's butthurt that OM beat Bama for the second year in a row and yet he knows that again all that will get them is a chicken bowl bid.

Ya know, I'm not sure I can disagree. He's good, I'm a huge fan, but he's just a big guy who runs really fast in a straight line. He doesn't really have any moves, he isn't near as powerful as his weight would indicate, and other than the occasional highlight block when he pops a guy head on, I'm not sure he's a great pass protector.

I'm sure some people will take that as hating on him, but I'm a huge fan of his. It's just he's seriously overrated.

Le'Veon Bell reinvented himself after dropping 25lbs from 244. I've been saying Henry could be Eric Dickerson-ish if he did the same

Something I've noticed about Henry that has really impressed me: he is a very patient runner with good vision. He lets the play develop & then hits the hole hard. He may not be the second coming of Bo Jackson, but he's a dang good running back. We'll have our hands full trying to contain him Saturday.

I'm pretty sure dude made his name crushing that 60 year old h.s. rushing record. How many national records have you held?

Auburn will have everyone comparing him to Adrian Peterson again.

He's really good, better than a few you put on front of him on the list...

IMO, he doesn't need to set the world on fire. He runs strong and always seems to get 3-4 yards. I don't understand why Bama is not patient enough to just let him run.

Emmitt Smith was not the national h.s. record holder. Some white guy from 1950's Texas was, I believe.

He has some things he is elite at and others he is below average at. He's no Fournette but no one is saying he is. This is the weakest Bama has been at the HB position since 2007 or 2008 IMO. His backups are too young, too small, or too injured to be viable replacements if he were to go down.

And I don't know 4, 7 or 8 but you obviously didn't watch Saturday if you included Collins.

I really don't understand why Drake isn't their starter. Henry should be able to deal out more punishment for his size, but he goes down pretty easily.

I'd take any of the Saban era backs over him. He's ok, his style doesn't seem to fit what we do. He's gone after this season anyway so what does it matter.
