Funny how if that was correctly called, Vols lose that game.

I know I remember screaming at the TV because I was certain that was going to get called roughing or worse.

Glad it didn't!

So this looks like a whole new brick wall ole Jones will be working on for next season? Vols lose Dobbs, Hurd, Kamara, Malone, Barnett, Berry, etc. etc. And who else? Vereen? Croom?

Also replacing your OC for next season. It looks like Lyle will be planted firmly on the hot seat during a rebuilding season. That can't exactly feel good.....

Congrats to the rest of us! He was a beast. Should be taken before MG15 IMHO.

Your quarterback. The one getting slung around in the gif.

I distinctly remember him hamming it up when hit right after passing. That would have been a valid unnecessary roughness call, but the refs didn't call it probably because they were sick of his shite.

Losses from 2 deep and likely replacement.

QB - Dobbs - replacement - Dormandy or Guarantano - Dormandy has a great arm but isn't very athletic. Guarantano isn't quite the runner as Dobbs but has an elite arm and is a perfect fit for our offense. Everyone around the program thinks he has superstar potential.

RB - Hurd and Kamara out - replacement - John Kelly / Carlin Fils Aime / Ty Chandler - We all saw what John Kelly can do, he can be elite. Ty Chandler looks the part but we have to see him against college competition. CFA looks like he could be a good 3rd option but we need Ty to step up and be a really good #2.

WR - Josh Malone out - Tons of options for replacement - We have a ton of young WR's on the roster, we will be fine here.

TE - Jason Croom out - Ethan Wolf, Eli Wolf and many other young TE's. Will be fine here as well.

OL - Dylan Weisman out - Trey Smith in and the rest of the top 10 OLineman, OL should be elite next year.

DL - Derek Barnett, Corey Vereen, Latroy Lewis - This is where we get hit very hard. Kongbo, Kyle Phillps, Darrel Taylor, Austin Smith and other DE's will need to step up. DT will be better with KMac and Shy Tuttle coming back from injury.

LB - (no losses basically since JRM didn't play all year)

CB - ( no losses really since Cam Sutton didn't play most of the year)

So we lost some big names but really out team next year will be our most experienced yet. If we can get the QB position figured out TN will be in the thick of the SEC title race.

Tennessee is never going to have an elite OL under Jones/Mahoney that much seems a given after this much time together.
