He sold private medical information on his players at A&M to the highest bidder and used his proxy Mike McKenzie to attack message board posters who were critical of him.

Not exactly what I'd call a "good guy".

He won at Alabama. The way he left was pretty dickish. Beyond that I have nothing against the man.

ive said it before and ill say it again, if the a&m/bama series ever gets going, the winner should get a trophy of gene stallings jumping into bears arms post cotton bowl and the loser should get a bust of franchione that they have to carry around with them to every game

That was one of Frans first coaching gigs. It is amazing how he and Petrino went full circle.
