Its just ridiculous. The team was bad last year. Its not like they have new players.

I'll just pick this one and comment. 2007 UF's D was not good at all, and they were dominant in 2008. They made a lot of mistakes on D cause they were young.

I don't think OSU should be in the top 10, but I think they could be in the 12-15 range end of the year if they could be ranked.

The schedule sets up well for them in 2012 too

It pains me to announce Braxton Miller was the 2011 national freshman player of the year.

Previous National Freshman Performer of the Year award winners include South Carolina's Marcus Lattimore in 2010 and Oregon's LaMichael James in 2009.

Really? Maybe I'm jaded because I can't stand OSU but I really thought De'Anthony Thomas and Jadeveon Clowney were the two top freshmen last season.

Seems like Wisconsin is always overrated. People just like saying Bret Bulemia or whatever his name is.

UF needs to start doing something with their preseason hype, or we're going to start being referred to as UGA.

Won't matter when Tennessee goes undefeated.

I agree, but the entire team looked like dogsh*t in that game. He had no viable receivers last year as his only weapon at TE was injured for the game.

I don't think they're that good, but they have enough talent to win 9 games

Wisconsin's best shot was last year with the transfering in of QB Russell Wilson, replacing him is not the celebration they have in Baton Rouge with Jefferson graduating

The Uga hype is pretty funny. Reminds me of 2008, except Michigan State wasn't Hawaii.

Geez, here we go again with the OU and USC lovefests.....I'm not worried about it...my guess is LSU may start out at #1 based on potential (Bama #2) , and assuming both go undefeated, if Bama beats Michigan like a drum (which I expect), they'll flipflop to #1 with LSU #2.

Assuming both LSU and Bama stay undefeated until they meet, it will be 1 vs 2. If Arky can beat Bama, they won't get to #2, if OU and USC are also undefeated.

One thing for certain....whoever wins the SEC West undefeated will be the national #1 - assuming the other two's only loss is to that team. LSU and Bama pretty much control their own destiny as per a BCSNCG slot - go undefeated and they're in. Arky probably as well, but need for OU and/or USC. Same for the SEC East Champion.

I'm just basing this on the obsession of the national voters with the Big Ten, USC and OU. They all WANT a non-SEC team BCSNGC so bad.

Unless an SEC is undefeated going into the big game, all bets are off....

Two PAC12'S in the top 4. I wonder if Oregon would be PO'd at being left out of the Big10's proposed playoff format.

And Bobby, this is two solid, quality posts for you today. Are you feeling okay buddy?

All Arkansas has to do is go undefeated in the SEC (not going to happen most likely), but they'd definitely be in the top 2 teams. Pac12/Big12 won't be strong enough to keep Arkansas below OU/USC if we somehow beat Bama AND LSU.

In a dead heat for # 2 (like OSU/Bama)it would behoove Arkansas to have a marquee of out confrence win, do they still have a game to add ?

True. But IF we went undefeated we'd be LSU in that scenario. Not Bama.

All we've heard is that we MIGHT be adding Rutgers to replace the loss of aTm.
