Thats the thing...it doesn't matter for shite if anyone else cares. Its a rivalry, not a contest for some third parties acceptance.

TT....LSU is our rival but this is not considered a rivalry!! You obviously don't understand what a rivalry is. Bama/Auburn is a rivalry, Bama/Tenn is a rivalry, Ohio State/Michigan = Rivalry, Georgia and Auburn = Rivalry. Rivalries consist of a hatred for the other team. Most Bama fans don't hate LSU. Respect yes, Hate NO! LSU is just a good team that we respect and play every year. That is all...Just because it's been a Marquee game for the past 5 years or so doesn't make it a rivalry.

But the competition has to endure. If you dominated Auburn for 25 yrs like we did Tulane and Ole Piss you would cease to hate them. Be greatful AU and UT will always have strong programs.

Thats true but the hatred for LSU is just not there. In the 90's it was Bama and Florida in the majority of SEC championships where Florida got the best of us most of the time and the hatred still wasn't there. Bama/Florida was never considered a rivalry.
