The reason Trinity runs a power run based offense is because of demographics.

Trinity hit the demographic jackpot because a large population of Polynesians resides in a pocket in Euless. This gives them a deep supply of 300+ pound offensive & defensive lineman every year. They simply are bigger than every other team and can line up and shove it down other team's throats.

This is the only reason they are good. It's not because of coaching, the program, or skill position players, it's the offensive line depth because of all the polynesians living in Euless.

I went to Trinity's rival high school 10 years ago. We are in the same school district but they get all the polynesians and we don't, therefore we would get our asses kicked every single year and still do to this day. It's probably the most lopsided rivalry in sports. They have won 18 straight, that's around the time the polynesians started to populate Euless.

Trinity-LD Bell used to be one of the biggest rivalries in the state back in the 80s, they played at Texas Stadium in 1982 because the crowd would be too big for Pennington Field, and sold it out.

But they got the Tongans, and we didn't, and it's been a lopsided rivalry ever since. And they just haven't won 18 straight, they have beat our asses 18 straight. I think we have come within 14 points once in the 18 game win streak, in 2002, and zero losses by single digits. Have lost by 21+ the last 12 games. 2 schools 3 miles apart and a huge difference in success.

Texas HSFB is all show and no substance. Overrated and overpampered.

They still beat the top team from Cali. They aren't that bad.

Are you saying that Polynesians tend to be larger than non-Polynesians? Because where I come from (21st Century America) saying shite like that is STEREOTYPING. In the place I want to come from (Hillary Clinton's thighs) stereotyping means lying.

I know that you're just being facetious, but I used to have a Tongan coworker. We were at the gym one day and he walks up and asks me for a spot on the bench press. As we're walking over to the bench, he's stretching out a little and says "I'm going kinda light. Haven't touched a weight in over 6 months". When we get there I find that he has 405 lbs loaded onto the bar. I help with a lift-off, but then he proceeds to nonchalantly kick out 8 reps. The downside is that most of them never see their 60th birthday.
