Coker and NM weren't the best passers but both were gamers

It wasn't Marshall crossing the line that we melted about. He was clearly behind the line. It was the offensive linemen blocking downfield that we melted about - and was the reason the AU receiver was left uncovered. DBs read run because the linemen were blocking at the next level.

Most of the complaints were about the downfield blockers on that play.

Plenty of teams (including Bama) use RPO plays now though.

the argument is auburn Oline was too far down the field indicating a run play to the DBs which is why they stepped up.and he was wide open.

Don't be silly. They read run because Nick Marshall was running towards them. They weren't staring down offensive linemen while simultaneously trying to cover Sammie Coates and watch Nick Marshall.

Maybe so, but either way, #63 was looking like he was running a route himself.

Just practicing his mobility, hoping for a chance to run the whirley-bird.
