Dave Aranda is the best DC in the SEC

For the second straight week, Aranda has held an explosive offense's total yards to half of their season average (161 passing, 81 rushing for Southern Miss).
This is being done with backups and true freshman who are still learning his system..
So if you're wondering why LSU fans are so optimistic of their team with Ed O as HC, part of it is because Dave Aranda is his defensive coordinator

You have not played Bama, A&M, Arky, Ole Miss, or UF. You have played against two teams with a pulse and are 0-2 in those games. Your defense gave up 4th qtr leads in both of those games as well.

You don't have near the defense Bama does. We all saw the Auburn and LSU game and Auburn has a better defense as well.
LSU defense is somewhere around Arky and A&Ms ,but less than the two teams from Alabama.
