I can't even wrap my head around how horrible our line looked last night. I totally understand what Auburn fans were talking about regarding Jeff Grimes. He's just a good recruiter and nothing more

Lynyrd saw what was about to happen and did a U-turn to try and help out.

Daron's pretty fast.

Don't forget that we also told you the same thing about Dameyune Craig.

I like Craig a lot, but he needs to go somewhere he can get back to coaching QBs. Our WRs got worse year-to-year under Craig. I know y'all have talented guys but I honestly haven't been impressed with the samples I've seen. Didn't they struggle with drops some this year? That's something we always struggled with under Craig.

If anything we've gotten slightly better there, because we dropped an absurd amount of passes last season; so much to where it could have only improved

eta: I wish O would have promoted him to OC instead of Ensminger

I think Craig could do well as a play caller. I hope he gets his shot. He's worked under two good offensive coaches in Fisher and Malzahn.

Agreed. He's not a good WR coach. Our WRs technique and route running has been pitiful this year. And we have some very talented WRs.

The local high school had a 180 pound defensive lineman that did the same thing to him back when Boutte was a senior. And, no he did not sucker punch the kid. He waited until the 3rd string was in and the local high school was 40 points ahead in the 4th quarter

Watching that game last night, he was monstered the whole game.
Boutte sux is the bottom line and not many SEC teams are as physically weak as LSU as a whole. It's mind boggling how they have absolutely no strength. Even Fournette, who is indeed big, isn't nearly as strong as some other backs we've faced. He breaks zero tackles. I understand his line sux but he can't shed anyone.

Never understood this thought process. It is much easier to coach WRs than and. If he is not a good WR coach, then why would he be a good qb coach?

Also I think Craig is a decent coach. Our WRs got better because louis and Ray left. We still have a lot of a drops of this year.

Who was that little shite trying to pick a fight with him when he was still engaged with Jeter on LSU's sideline?

He kept shoving him...
