Imagine what Dan would do at Florida.

Win 9-11 games every year, probably clutch up and call 1-2 total offensive stinkers and lose just enough to make people there antsy about him.

Hint: he's already done it

LOL, uhhu

Bowl games every year and four 8+ win seasons isn't a bad deal for State.

Yes, they did. It will always be a loss. Forever.

He should lock up instate talent for the next few years, that's for sure. They won't go to OM

One thing to consider is how far his millions go living in StarkVegas. He probably has his own castle.

In the past everytime State would give Dan an extension Ole Miss would give their coach a boost. State adds to their stadium and the Ole Miss would follow. Now that Dan's just received an extension it will be interesting to see what Ole Miss does.

No doubt, he could probably buy the entire state at this point.

Just not a good week for coaches in Mississippi, is it? Freeze is in danger of losing his job at OM. Mullen is in danger of keeping his job at MSU. I feel bad for both of them.

True, but I think what most state fans are saying is that if we can pull 3-4 that we normally don't then that can help us out tremendously.

And just looking at the top 10 recruits in the state of Mississippi the past 5 recruiting classes Only 1 of those has gone to auburn, 3 to LSU, and 3 to Bama.

Mississippi kids like to stay in state more than you think.

eta: kinda contradicted myself here but whatever yall get the point

Ole Miss just went from Alabama being priority #1 to instead circling that State game as THE must win. Egg Bowl just got a huge bump!

Glad you took it with good humor. I may have to revise my opinion of Mississippi State fans as being unspeakable monsters who only exist to eat my chips and drink my beer.
