How many wins does he have against teams who finished in the top 25, like two?

Record is skewed

0-8 vs Bama who has been the most dominant team in American over the past 8 years.

What's he got, 5 against Ole Miss? You guys aren't helping much to be such a powerhouse.

2014 Auburn and 2009 Ole Miss I believe are the only teams that finished top 25. Ole Miss was 9-4 and finished #21 and Auburn was 8-5 and #23

2014-2016
13-11 SEC
4-9 vs Top 25
1-5 vs Alabama/LSU
4-8 vs Alabama/LSU/Auburn/Ole Miss

I mean, that's pretty meh

"Meh" is quite a significant improvement from complete irrelevance.

2009 Ole Miss (#21)
2014 Auburn (#22)

That's it

their GOAT never beat Ole Miss as a starting QB.

You do realize the price that OM is about to pay for that, right?

Unprecedented cheating, just to beat a 3 star TE playing QB

Mullen rubbed y'alls nose in it and OM lost their shite.

Outside of 2014 every season has basically been irrelevant hasn't it?

4 easy non-conference games, 2-4 SEC wins over non-Top 25 teams and a bowl vs Wake Forest or NC State.

Better than 4-8, but not exactly overly impressive.

So what exactly are the expectations for Dan Mullen for fans outside of Mississippi State????

That he wins 10 or more games yearly beating bama and LSU? That he wins the west, SECCG, and Goes to the playoffs?

Other Bama who has done much better collectively than what Mullen has done at Mississippi State with what he has to work with over the past 8 years????

So 1-13 vs non-Alabama Top 15s. Is that any better?

I dunno. I find it surprising he so consistently loses to Top 20 teams though.

Oh, I'm not saying they have been impressive. I'm just saying they had nowhere to go but up.

Mullen has built a steady program, which is impressive given the history there.

I'm holding out hope that you crawl back here with your tail between your legs on Sunday.

I know you won't. But I'll gain at least a modicum of respect for you if you come back and take your licks after all this shite you've been talking.

I almost missed this one.

As the HC, your job is to get the best players to work with.

You talk about his disadvantages, but one big advantage Muffin has had is a complete joke of a schedule.

His non conference schedule is usually roll on the ground laughable. He gets Kentucky as his yearly opponent from the east. Those things plus Dak are largely what his modest success is built on

No doubt he needs to improve his record when he is the underdog but he has over a 90% winning percentage when he is favored so don't forget to give him credit for that too.
