And has led the Bulldog program to heights that were never thought to be attainable. Even though he's only beaten 1 team that has finished with less than 5 losses in his tenure, I just cannot believe the underhanded and callous manner in which this fanbase is treating him. So quickly have you forgotten that this coach had you at #1 in the country less than a year and a half ago! They should be ashamed.

You know we all joke around on the rant. It's not really hatred for me to any other fan base. It's just shite on a board. Yeah this class sucks. Maybe it's Dans fault to a great degree. It isn't catastrophic if it's just a bridge to a great class next year. They have some players and filled some needs. But I'll admit that States fans that actually get heard from are the worst in the SEC. These are adults a lot of times, not just college kids, getting retarded to this degree over 18 yr old kids playing a game. State has fielded competitive entertaining teams for mullens tenure. They've progressed. At a slower rate than others but that's how you have to do it at MSU. It ain't easy to recruit there. He can do better I know. He lost great recruiters right in the middle of recruiting season. He relies on his coaches for that. Just the nature of it. I think State has great fans but those types at State are less outspoken. Only our shitty ones voice their opinions loudly. State will have a team worth watching next year. They have a lot coming back. They could easily overachieve and surprise. But the fanatical shite from the fans is beyond reasonable. No wonder recruits don't wanna come. They're as much to blame as Mullen. Cuz it just didn't start today. They've been that way. And if anyone thinks recruits don't see that shite, they're stupid. I know other schools have em too. But not like State. Not to the point to where it gives the perception that it's the totality of your fan base. Get a grip. Take your lumps. Love the players you got that will win games. GAMES. That's what they are. Don't get retarded about what kids do. If you ever attend coaching conferences or coaching gatherings, you'll see. Freeze and Mullen don't even hate each other. At these things the two of them are usually talking and laughing it up. They're many times paired up, just the two of them away from the other SEC coaches. It's like pro wrestling to them. They know it's beneficial to play up the rival angle. And I'm sure they laugh about how the idiot fans are.

Every single potential recruit has been shown the banter over on Elitedawgs. Coach34 and Political Hack are the cause of this recruiting collapse, not Dan Mullen. I believe you know this. The ongoing personal attacks of teenagers and their families have doomed Mississippi State

Our fans can suck sometimes. Mullen has his faults but he is a damned good coach. It's an off year recruiting for us. Last year was good and next years looks good but this year was an off year. Hopefully we have a bunch of Tavese Calhouns and Benardrick McKinney's in this group

Not exactly. Mullen handicaps himself and the program with his awkwardness and bad relationships. He burns bridges every year. He's an excellent qb coach but other than that, he's easily and completely replaceable.
