According to Mr. LeBatard, every time he watches football, he knows he's "going down" because football is immoral like "bullfighting and cockfighting."

He is up front about the fact that he finds sports, and talking about sports, kind of boring. This, the man who the biggest sports network in the world has chosen to host their prime sports talk show. And the media wonders why people think they're out of touch.

Football has proven to damage the men who play it. The extent of which we are just finding out, but it should never be compared to animal death sport.
Much has been done to combat head injuries with low contact practices, concussion protocol, better equipment and rules to protect QBs and WRs mostly. Other position players see some injury protection by rule like chop blocks, hands to the face, crown of the helmet tackles, etc. The sport is actually trying to do something about the severeness of injuries.
All this to say frick Dan LeBetard.
