Damn UK. Y'all got our number so far this sports year....

Albeit some agonizingly close games.
- We were one shot away from beating #1 UK in basketball but lost by 1.
- #1 LSU lost 2 of 3 at UK to the Lady Cats in softball over this past weekend.
- #1 LSU lost 2 of 3 to the Wildcats at Alex Box in
baseball this past weekend (albeit both were in extra innings on Twilight Zone-ish plays - Friday our baserunner gets nipped on the foot by the game-winning hit that kept the ball in play.
Sunday a last out dying quail blooper that could have been fielded on one hop is missed and goes for an insider HR by UK.)
Hats off to UK for hanging in there and making your own luck. Ours was just bad...
And actually UK should be a post-season player so it was no disgrace losing 2 out of 3.......

Cal paid off the grounds crew at Alex Box. Only explanation.
Hopefully it'll be a good series to hang their hat on when it comes to seeding at the end of the season.
