I thought Bjork said they did nothing wrong and an apology wasn't warranted? What happened Land Sharts?

How do you view this as a win for Ole Miss? He likely got paid in this thing given that the below was the statement from your University:

Certain statements made by University employees in January 2016 appear to have contributed to misleading media reports about Coach Nutt. To the extent any such statements harmed Coach Nutt’s reputation, the University apologizes, as this was not the intent. The NCAA’s Notice of Allegations dated January 22, 2016, did not name or implicate Coach Nutt in any misconduct, and it would have been inappropriate for any University employee to suggest otherwise.

I thought Ole Miss said they wouldn’t apologize? Should have done so a long time ago.

If that apology could actually have ended this when it first came up, someone in administration at UM is an absolute Jackass for dragging it out this far.

Someone in administration at UM is an absolute Jackass?

Am I a master at understatement or what?

If Nutt gets his apology when he first asked for it, HF is still coaching & the team formerly known as the Black Bears would be in a whole lot better shape. How can today's settlement be looked on as a win for them? Nutt did not cause all this shite, Freeze did.

Generally, in legal proceedings, the University of Mississippi allows its formal court filings to speak on its behalf," said Alice Clark, vice chancellor of university relations. "But to be clear, this case has no merit, and there is no reason to apologize. Further, it is clear Mr. Nutt’s suit seeks far more than an apology."

Lol. More Ole Miss spin in the dumpster.

Has any of their narrative been correct? A tiny, little bit?

Hell hath no fury like a lover scorned. Ole Miss should have just apologized, now they’re back to doormat status. Too bad.

This along with reasonable self imposed penalties and the perception of contrition 2 years ago and everything would be behind them instead of still staring into the abyss.

OM has the worst crisis management team on the planet, total amateur hour.

Nutt nutted on Ole Miss...again. Nutt is Ole Misses version of a hooker. He screws OM, OM pays him.

Not a bad gig HDN. Well played.
