I picked him up late in our draft and he has been solid. Everyone said "Wait til Romo comes back." lulz

It really shows how good a player he is, and helps to illustrate how offenses like MSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn rely on really good QB play to be successful.
Without it, things just go to shite.

Why aren't MSU fans crazy annoying bitchy Dallas fans like pesky Camthers?

So these 3 are not the same.
- State is a balanced attack team, in 2014 we had almost exactly a 50/50 spread of run/pass plays. We actually run a pretty slow offense, think we are generally like 30-50th in play per game rank.
- OM is a pass first, fast paced, quick strike system. Top 15-30 in plays per game.
- Gus passes to open up the run but above all keeps it simple and highlights the strength of his teams. They typically rank like 60-80thbin plays per game IIRC.
State actually runs a really complex system, which is what Dak has credited his smooth transition to. Apparently his senior year he was making 5 WR reads and had like 21 OL blocking schemes he could check them into. But you're right that it takes a good QB to make it work to its max potential, luckily Mullen seems to be pretty solid at coaching them up.

I hate how much I've enjoyed watching Dallas play this year.

0-2 against Eli this year?
The same Eli with 2 rings?
Let the kid win something before homerishly calling him the best.

So what, you guys are saying Dak is better than Stafford?
Dak landed in about the best situation, as Dallas has one of the best Olines. He has played well for a rookie although his passing stats aren't that great other than his TD:INT. I think we will falter in the playoffs and show his true colors as a rookie (although he hasn't played that well in his recent games).
Put Stafford on Dallas and he puts up way better numbers.

Well now I don't feel so bad losing to MSU four years in a row.

I never said that. OP is clever, this is a troll post and it targets about 3 fan bases.

No doubt. But I question how they would look without him, last year they were shite.

His stats are amazing, especially for a rookie. Do some research about how he stacks up against other QB's in their first year.
Through first 14 starts:
Dak: 292 of 431, 3,418 yards, 20 TD - 4 INT, 103.2 QBR.
Brady: 259 of 403, 2,797 yards, 18 TD - 12 INT, 87.0 QBR.

He went 32/36 last week for the 2nd highest completion % in NFL history.

No.

How many times have you said that he would eventually regress this season? Yeah 88% completion percentage against one of the best defenses in the league is HORRIBLE.

No they are not, but it doesn't make the point of his statement incorrect

He didn't say they all run the same offense.

I didn't say they were the same, just VERY reliant on great QB play...specifically running for MSU.
A good example is Dak's stat line from last year's game against Bama...
Dak Prescott 26 rushs 14 yards 0.5 per 0 td 17 long
He passed for 300 on 22/43 attemps. MSU ran 88 offensive plays to Bamas 55.
The score was 31-6...well why is that? Because the QB or anyone else for that matter couldn't run the ball.
Another example is LSU last year...
Again Dak goes rushes for nothing and passes for 335. 80+ plays to LSU 51.
21-19 LSU
Bottom line is MSU needs a QB that can run to win.
BTW looking at the Ole Miss game MSU ran 79 plays to OM 67 in another loss.

Everyone is better than Stafford. Dude was born with ungodly talent and it was matched to a ten cent brain and a loser spirit.

Yeah, he'd have great numbers for his personal stats, but nothing else. Dude is not a winner.

Wow I never thought of it like that before. Who knew teams needed really good QB play to run a good offense?
