It honestly fascinates the hell out of me that anyone gets upset if some dude takes a knee or doesn't. I like Dak but this just isn't an issue that rustles my jimmies regardless of someone's stance on it.

This is the most contrived, nonsensical controversy in the history of contrived, nonsensical controversies. You've seen all the protests by college players, right? No, because they're in the locker room during the anthem. The NFL could shuffle the schedule around just a bit and this nonsense would go away.

That said, this is not a surprise at all. Dak is good people.

"I made 58 on the MCAT and 249 on Step 1 of the USMLE"

Surely you jest? Haha....As someone who also grew up in MS and went to medical school, I find this whole tirade quite amusing....and you call yourself "enlightened"

HB1523 for one. I am sure you think racism is about the color of a persons skin.

Dude, get off your high horse. You wanted to move your kids to a more culturally diverse place... How culturally diverse was their school because I know a large majority of schools up north are majority white public schools. Now If you mean culturally diverse as in Germans, Swedes, etc. you may be on to something. I lived in Ohio for a couple of years and it is completely different from MS unless you are in Cleveland or Cincy. I went to a school that was larger than any public school in the state of MS and we had one black kid in the entire school. Honestly, Ohio was more segregated than MS is as far as schooling and the few trips we made to PA it was a lot of the same unless you were in Philly or Pittsburgh.

If you're going to kneel....

Why not kneel and salute the flag at the same time? It would make your message resonate more without pissing off hose who have died so players can have multi-million dollar contracts.

Kneel in recognition to hey we still have a ways to go. Everyone. Salute the flag out of the love of our country. And stop supporting movements like BLM who have no real solutions and who only want to promote anarchy. MAYBE then people will give a damn about your cause when your intentions are pure.

Good. I have always liked him as a player and now my overall respect for him as a person has increased.
