Maybe he's smart enough not to get in the middle of all the political-media shite slinging.

Caitlyn Jenner should be the next California governor.

This has gone to 7 pages. Our country is fukd up.

How do y'all think the Country would have reacted 10 years ago when Colin took that o so controversial knee?

This statement just proves how ignorant you are on this incident. Dak is taking a stand for one side while Kap is taking a stand for the side he believes is right. Dak has capital, successful pro bowl QB with advertisers knocking his door down wanting him to rep their product. Kap got benched and has no sponsors. Sounds like one has capital to lose and the other is just a no capital begger in the gutter trying to get enough money to tattoo the flag on his arse.

Exactly. The FreeKap crowd seems to ignore the obvious: Kap doesn't want to play anymore. Look at him. He's gotten skinny. He doesn't work out for anybody so they could evaluate him if they wanted. The NFL drafted Joe Mixon after he sucker punched a blonde-haired, blue-eyed coed on camera. Doubt they would do that if they were so eaten up with racism

Exactly. Look how many other players are doing this. Guess what? They are still on a team because they are GOOD Colin is not good. He opted out of a 14 million dollar contract on his own. He got greedy, and you can't get paid starter money, for being a backup, when you're not really that good. Colin didn't only knee for the Anthem though. He wore socks that showed police being portrayed as pigs, Fidel Castro T-shirts, and all. Dude was asking for it IMO. As I stated above. If colin was good, he would be on a NFL roster like the rest of the players that are kneeing for the Anthem.

Wrong. No matter how much you want to debate, fight, chop, burn, defame, thread it in cloth, stamp it on your arse, stand, or don't stand to THE flag, the symbol means something to you indefinitely. I'm assuming you live in the USA so the officials that represent you; the armed forces that keep war off your door step, and the officers that protect you and your property all pledge allegiance to this symbol before they get to start any of this work for you. A symbol is that LSU next to your signature, the American flag is used by our country to establish order, law, and justice.

You can burn every flag on the planet, but the pledge still stands to it and by it. You can call it a symbol, that's fine, but it is not.

Personally, I think you are wrong. This flag represents EVERYONE in this country legally. With no regard to race of sex. We all have equal opportunity. Some don't see it that way. They think that everything should be handed to them, and I say that regardless of your skin color. There are a heck of lot "white folk" who live off of government coffers and only vote for those who they think they can bring them a check each month. As someone who had nothing growing up, not even parents who graduated high school, I fully believe that you can do anything you want if are willing to be responsible for your own success.

And here we go.

Let me save the board a few steps:

-Has anyone ever made it out of the projects of New Orleans?

-They should just pull themselves up from their bootstraps?

There. Got those posts out of the way. Now we can proceed.

Grow up and see things for what they really are. You don't live on our side of life and I'm a pretty successful black man. I've seen both sides, from guys a Ive played with and much more. It's just sad to see the difference in education and so on and so on. It's a big difference, it's just to bad you don't see it.

I don't disagree and didn't disagree with your post. Stop being defensive.
My post was a shot at message boards in general. Those statements are always soon to follow a post like yours, so I was just getting them out there to expedite things.

You're the one who assumed and stereotyped. Lighten up

“I just feel so strongly that the act of recognizing the flag is a salute to our country and all of the people that have sacrificed so that we can have the liberties we have,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan’s Shan and RJ. “I feel very strongly that everyone should save that moment for the recognition of the flag in a positive way, so I like the way the Cowboys do it.”

Prescott had this to say:
"I mean, it's bigger than I think some of us think," he said. "It's just important for me to go out there, hand over my heart, represent our country and just be thankful and not take anything I've been given and my freedom for granted."

The two statements are extremely similar. Like I said in my original post. Dak may feel this way truly, or he may not...but it always pays for you and the person who signs your paycheck to agree.

I love Dak, will always love him. His kneeling, not kneeling won't affect the way I view him or any other player in the NFL because we all view things differently. But when your boss tells you to do something, and you aren't financially insulated to take the hit...you do it.

By the same token, if your boss came in and said work overtime or you're fired...you think showing up for work is a choice? Especially if you don't have powerball winnings sitting in your bank account.

Colin has made over 40M dollars in his career btw...hardly struggling for a tattoo i would think.
