He lost a year of being a millionaire and probably draft value on top of that. He should have sold himself high off of last year, but he came back out of loyalty to Dan Mullen. I respect that.

He's a damn good player, and a class act. He just can't carry Miss St. to greatness on his back without any help. If State can win out, it could be worth it though. I don't see that happening.

Nah, he's gotten a lot better. His footwork and short passing touch is much better.

I don't know what will happen to his stock once the combine rolls around but I know I'd want that guy on my team. He's a damn good player.

I don't think he has hurt his draft status at all.

Well, stupidity is not something I'll tolerate.

Agree. He had maxed out his abilities I think. I have no idea how NFL people will judge him (literally none), but he has really improved the last 2 years.

He has improved his draft status this year........like every draft writer and scout agrees on this.

At least he can go out with an Egg Bowl victory, I mean its not as big a game as it was last year but he probably cares about it.

I agree with this.

The issue is that Dan put Rayne's draft stock before the team. And made him not as good of a college QB as he was last year. But prepared him better for the pros.

If I was a State fan I would be pissed about that. Just got played second fiddle to the NFL by your own coach/greatest QB of all time.
