Stock Report
Nation Seeds
Secure - A&M
Bubble (in) - LSU, UF
Bubble (out) - Vandy
Florida has better quality wins, with a 6-4 record against the RPI top 25 and a 12-9 mark against the top 50 heading into Tuesday. The Gators are two games behind Vanderbilt in the standings, but they are well ahead in the RPI (No. 5) and they own a signature series win against Miami.
LSU has rebuilt its momentum after losing its first series of the year at home against Kentucky at the end of March. Since then, the Tigers swept a road series at Alabama and won two of three from Auburn, giving them a strong 10-5 SEC record and a No. 15 RPI. A strength of schedule ranking of No. 128 is still a blemish on LSU’s resume, dragging down its RPI (No. 15), but LSU’s 31-6 overall record and 11-4 mark against the top 50 offset those deficiencies at this stage

A shite record is ok when you have a tough schedule. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

We have to finish above .500 to even get in.

6 teams from Texas, including 3 hosts and no t.u. That doesn't happen very often.

Oh please let USC come to Baton Rouge for a Super Regional

A) Our RPI and SOS are great.
B) D1Baseball has been high on us all year.
C) I think we will be a 3 seed.

That's a good question. RPI at 42, winning record, series win over LSU. I think they should get in over Bama or Ole Miss, but at this point its hard to tell.

There's no way Ole Miss gets left out with that SOS and RPI

Unless we finish under .500. Which is a very real possibility right now.
I'm all for playing quality OOC teams, but not when you're in a rebuilding year. Having the 1 SOS is great and all but you have to finish above .500 to make the tourney.

True. Beating Florida and Vandy 2/3 helped us a ton

Same. I'd love to be in the Louisville regional and go bitch slap McDonnell a few times

In my opinion they should get in over Arkansas.

Finishing better than .500 will be all it takes. Who knows with this team.. bipolar as frick.

we can't lose another series except that A&M one. And who knows, maybe the Aggies will rest some guys that final week.
There's almost 0 difference in a 2 and a 3 seed.

D1 fills out the field by projecting the rest of the season. They must be thinking that UK wont finish out the season on a strong note and Bama and UM will.

Not hard to see us finishing strong. We have Auburn, Bama, Missouri, State, and A&M left.
We should win all of those series except A&M.
