Well there is something to be said for sticking by statements that can't possibly be proven wrong. Claiming from day one that "both Benton and Auburn may deny this" turns out to be a pretty smart move in hindsight...its almost like he knew Benton would end up in Auburn. I may not have inside sources like Otis but I will say this...if there was anything to that Benton to Arkansas rumor than if he doesn't end up in the NFL he has one heck of a career as an actor ahead of him. The video I just watched of him (after a 19 hour bus ride to Auburn) he was smiling from ear to ear the whole time...almost like he was happy to be there.
I'm sure he called Otis immediately after the interview to cry about not being let out of his LOI to go to Fayetteville Arkansas though.
