They'll probably be ranked #2 or #3. Tennessee should be awful just like last year. Ravaged at #2 Oregon and now playing at #2 Oklahoma right after they found their QB playing like Tom Brady.

Whoever responsible for UT's OOC scheduling should be shot in the face.

UT and Bama have the opposite magic working on OOC scheduling.

Good news for Va Tech, Southern Cal, and Nebraska coming up. All three will probably be national title contenders when we rotate on to their schedule.

And Dave Hart says two more marquee games are going to be announced soon.

You want to be the best, you have to beat the best.

UT was a 27 point underdog @Oregon. It sucks to play OOC opponent when everyone expects you to lose by 4 TDs.

I wouldn't mind having Florida's pussified schedule. They play nothing but GA Southern and Charleston Southern of the world.

02 and 03-Miami (Sean Taylor, Vilma, Winslow, McGahee, etc.)
04 and 05-Notre Dame (Ryan Grant, Samardzija,Justin Tuck, etc.)
06 and 07-Cal (Marshawn Lynch, DeSean Jackson, etc.)
10 and 13-Oregon
14 and 15-Oklahoma (preseason top 5)

You do not have to do this. In fact, it is extremely stupid.

They will beat you but they really aren't that good. They played out of their minds last night but they looked mediocre for most of the year

How is that different than SCAR playing Clemson every year or UF playing FSU every year?

Plus, in SCAR's case we always throw-in a UNC, NC St, UCF, ECU, etc., on top of the taterheads.

I just don't get how UT see that as all that much tougher than everyone elses' OoC schedules?

We've learned our lesson. If our dipshit coach is gonna keep blowing these OOC contests then we just won't schedule them any more. Clemson should be our last one.

How in any way possible are those teams similar to the ones you listed? I can understand Clemson and UCF but ECU? NC State? Seriously?

I like it. If we're not elevating our program, we deserve to be humiliated.

UCF has always been shitty until this year. UT played NC State last year too.

Bluebloods on UT's schedule
Oklahoma
USC
Notre Dame
Ohio State (they backed out last year)
Nebraska

Also Oregon when they made the BCS championship game in 2010, Cal when they were top 10 teams

You missed my point.

We play Clemson EVERY YEAR. UF plays FSU EVERY YEAR.

I clearly stated that on top of Clemson, SCAR throws-in UCF, UNC, ECU, NC State, etc.

Then I asked, if SCAR is playing one Top Ten, Top Five whatever, OoC every year in Clemson, and UF is doing it in FSU ... plus SCAR throws in other FBS bowl teams ... then my question was, how is it that Vol fans consider their OoC schedule so much tougher?

Are you the same Carolina Tide fan whining on the 247 Bama board about your girlfriend leaving you on the fourth AJ sack by chance? Be honest.

No. I am in no way defending the Vols, but they DO play us every year, so there is that.

Clemson/FSU have not produced a team even close to the level of early 00s Miami or 10 Oregon until this year's FSU team.

Oklahoma will be better than Clemson next year as well.

And the reason SCAR and UF play those schools is because they're long standing rivalries. Tennessee seems to seek out blue boods when they're peaking for no apparent reason.

Whew, good, I didn't think so.

But Tennessee playing Bama every year is not always that big of a deal ... look at SCAR's Western Division opponents since the turn of the millennium and you'll find SCAR's schedule to be tougher in the overall scheme of things. Check out the years we played Bama, played Auburn, played LSU ... while they were winning BCSCGs ... played Ole Miss when they were highly ranked, and Arkansas during the Petrino years, etc.

Tennessee's OoC schedule is always respectable, but it's never that much better than SCAR's, if ever.
