We won the conference and went to a national championship 3 years ago...but congrats on finally getting those two big wins in the SEC after 16 tries, things are really looking up in Fayetteville

What prestigious bowl did LSU lose in last year?

So it appears we can firmly add A&M to the Bama dickriding club with Arky. I saw two A&M posters respond to LSU with a Bama win streak That is pathetic

Well we went to the national championship and lost in one of the 4 years that ya'll's bottom tier bowl win streak has spanned. That's a lot more impressive than anything you or A&M can claim in this embarrassment of a brag post

And yet LSU fans were bragging about winning their "bottom tier" bowl last year.

Except they didn't. Maybe you meant the year before.

Last year: Lost to Notre Dame, blamed Chavis
2 years ago: Beat Iowa
3 years ago: Lost to Clemson, blamed Chavis

Except they did. The Outback Bowl win over Iowa was last year, not 2 years ago.

Aren't you referring to 2013 when we went to the Outback bowl? We were ranked in the top 15 and went 10-3 that season, the bowl reserved for the #4 SEC team isn't really "bottom tier" smart guy. I forgot though, in rantards minds LSU suddenly goes to bottom tier bowls regularly because we "only" had 8 wins last year, that completely negates the fact that LSU's had 10+ wins every year since 2003 other than 08 and 14. Don't let facts get in the way of a good story though bud

LSU didn't play in the 2013 Outback Bowl.

So when South Carolina wins 11 games and goes to the Outback it's bottom-tier. But when LSU wins 10 games and goes to the Outback it's not. Gotcha.

Did you even watch our bowl games against Notre Dame and Clemson...? Probably not because they sure as hell weren't the offense or special teams' fault. It's so funny how every A&M fan is saying all this uneducated shite about Chavis when they've obviously never watched him coach a game

There is no reason to be upset.
This is what you said to CNB (a South Carolina fan): "Well we went to the national championship and lost in one of the 4 years that ya'll's bottom tier bowl win streak has spanned." They've only played in 1 bottom-tier bowl during their streak.

2012 Capital One: South Carolina was 10-2 and ranked #10/#9.
2013 Outback: South Carolina was 10-2 and ranked #11/#10.
2014: Capital One: South Carolina was 10-2 and ranked #8.

If those were bottom-tier bowls, then so was the 2014 Outback when y'all were 9-3 and #14. You can't have it both ways.

Ok that's fair let's call the outback bowl that we went to bottom tier then. Nobody was happy to go there and play Iowa anyway, especially coming off of a visit to the national championship 2 seasons before

Instead of arguing we should be talking about how damned impressive the SECW has been the last few years, esp. last year.

Every team went to a bowl and was ranked in the top 10 at one point last year, 4 in the Top 5; except Arkansas. And Arkansas may have been the hottest team in the SEC towards the end of the year.....

2014:

Notre Dame averaged 32.8 ppg. (scored 31 vs. LSU)
Notre Dame allowed 29.2 ppg. (held LSU to 28)

2013:

Iowa averaged 26.3 ppg (scored 10 vs. LSU)
Iowa allowed 18.9 ppg (LSU scored 24)

2012:

Clemson averaged 41.0 ppg (scored 25 vs. LSU)
Clemson allowed 24.85 ppg (held LSU to 24)

I think you're focusing on the wrong side of the ball.

Let's say this in corndog-ese:

Dat deahh Irish defense helll dem Tigas to fewa points den dey allow and dey allow ova 29 a gaym.

So ironic, considering:
(1) The corndog is the staple of the TEXAS STATE FAIR. It has more to do with Texas than everyone but Iowa and Nebraska.
(2) 'Corndog' is actually a moniker that Iowa and Nebraska fans call each other. It has less than zero to do with LSU.
(3) Anyone who keeps spewing this tired, non-sensical farce is only embarrasiing themselves. It makes you look like the lobotomized zombies you are.
(4) At least Louisiana's immigrants came over 220 years ago via Nova Scotia, after the British destroyed the communities and business establishments they had built.
Acadiana and SE Louisiana and Lafayette actually have one of the largest number of millionaires per capita in America.

Your state's immigrants sneak over illegally and don't speak a syllable of English, yet expect to be given everything by tax-paying Americans (including Acadian-Americans.)

Satisfied? You asked for it MF a-hole......
