What does these two teams have in common ? Both blew an undefeated season in the game that mattered the most.

Great quarterbacks.

They are also the standards in their respective sports by which the wannabes are measured.

What do Mississippi State and the Cleveland Browns have in common?

Irrelevance.

Uh? You're kidding right.

Brady is better than every quarterback in your schools history.

The pats 18 and 1 season was a run to behold that finished short. Like Bama the have the luxury of having that season be part of a composite of success, a thread in the story of the dynasty that exalts the excellence. When a team has multiple championships even the near misses add to the dominance

Both will win another title after they lost a championship game.

Or Jack Nicklaus. In addition to his 18 major titles, he was the runner up 19 times. Even when he lost he was still in the hunt. That is true dominance.
