We could've played 30 more innings and never scored again tonight. Good night all. Thank you rob for another successful year

I fell asleep when A&M was down 1-4 in the 6th. What happened?

another successful season? When was the first? Missing Omaha means you failed

So I just watched the replay. What on earth was that guy thinking running through third?

This. A&M had one heck of a season. Maybe one more win during the year would have gotten them a National Seed and they'd been playing at home and now in Omaha.
Outstanding team and season.

Solo shot by A&M in the 8th and TCU couldn't find the strike zone in the top of the 9th and A&M was able to score 2 more. After that, it was a comedy of errors because TCU kept getting a baserunner on second with no more than one out, but A&M kept escaping--in the most unusual ways.

A&M had TWO great backflip forceouts at second - great plays....

A&m don't pay Arky any mind...they have very low standards so any win is like the biggest ever. Well, maybe not in track and field, but everything else.
You guys had a great season.

Recap of the winning play:
"Running from second, senior Garrett Crain had the play in front of him. When he saw the ball pop free, he never hesitated. He turned the corner at third and eschewing a stop sign, nearly ran through third base coach Bill Mosiello.
Gideon pounced on the ball and came up firing home. The throw beat Crain by more than 10 feet, but Texas A&M catcher Michael Barash couldn’t pick the long hop. Though he applied a tag, the ball bounced by Barash and Crain slid in with the winning run to send TCU to the College World Series with a 5-4 extra-inning victory over the Aggies."

I dont think playing in Blue Bell would have made THAT much of a difference. A&M had a good crowd there. They are very supportive of their baseball team.

Well .... I hate it for A&M.
Excellent season those Aggies!

We had problems with our catcher this year too .... and I remember A&M's catcher making two errors when we took the series from them in College Station this year.
Anyways, we fired our catcher at the end of the season. We've had great catchers for a long time. You don't realize how fundamentally important your catcher is until you have a bad one behind the plate. Your catcher is in on every single pitch, plus so much more.
