Uh, I believe you'd be incorrect.

the college football playoff doesn't select 3-loss teams, so no.

Let's not put the cart before the preverbal hound.. You have the Gators rolling into town in Sep. and if they beat you--OMG you guy's will be so mind fricked over the next few weeks. BTW, the next 3 weeks is a trip to A&M, Georgia and they Bama rolls into town. Unlike the Reb's who get the tide in early Sep, you play them in mid-Oct when all the kinks have been worked out. Let's wait and see if you can skin a Gator before you start heading to Hotlanta.

Oh dear. is that right? I heard otherwise.

We -should- win the East if Coach Jones can stop micro-managing enough for it to happen.

Any number of minor or major calamities could convocate on the competition.

Or vice versa.

Vo12s fan should just be content with the one a** whipping that Bama will put on them during the regular season. For the record 8-4 won't get you to the SECCG, the playoff or the Natty game so don't ask stupid questions. Also, keep in mind that the off season is almost over and those championships don't matter in the regular season.

No one wants to see Tenn period. I cringe every time I see Sloth under center.

I would say this is highly unlikely. If it did happen though, the committee would make sure that they faced each other in the first round of the playoff so that it would not be a repeat of a repeat for the Championship. My guess is they would be seeded #1 and #4... or #2 and #3, depending on what everyone else's resumes looked like.

They'll play once and Tennessee will lose by at least 24.

The only way they'll play again is if Saban wants a 2nd regular season game vs UT just because he considers them such a patsy. So instead of playing somebody like Troy State right before Auburn Saban will play a second game vs Tennessee.

While it is highly unlikely the NCAA would approve a request from Saban to have 2 regular season games vs UT it still is a more likely event than UT making the SEC title game.

Why do you say this? We played them close last season in Tuscaloosa and we return pretty much the whole team and its at home.

I think you meant:

I hope Tennessee will lose by at least 24 but in reality no one has any idea and if they say they do then theyre idiots
