He was rumored to be East bound and down. Obviously the deal fell through at the last minute forcing them to settle for another coach.

I'm excited about Gray. By all accounts he's a good coach and recruiter and is from Florida. If we are "settling" then, hey we did well. I don't pretend to have the expertise in football to know who's a better coach between Gray and Raymond anyway. They both seem to be excellent.
Not sure why LSU fans got so upset anyway. I mean there were rumors going around and people posted them. The LSU people on here acted like the UF posters were personally trying to get Raymond to UF. We're just fans folks I don't think any of us had anything to do with trying to get Raymond. That was the UF AD. Chill.
