Alabama fires Grant after only one NCAA bid in 6 seasons and 2 NIT bids.

A&M retains Kennedy after 0 NCAA bids and 1 NIT bid in 4 seasons (2 NCAA and 3 NIT in 20 seasons total)

Did Grant just have the best recruiting class in school history?

Got to give Kennedy this recruiting class one year.

Bama should have never put pressure on Gottfried. Bama is a football school, they need to keep any decent coach they get.

Alabama expects winning, A&M just worries about big bro Texas all day.

Ags will win continue to overpay for mediocre coaching (see Sumlin) and try and win the offseason with talk of big budgets and "program heading in the right direction" nonsense.

They are the equivalent of the NY Jets or Dallas Cowbiys. Big hat, no cattle. I think that's how UT used to describe the farmers from Coolege Station.

ETA: sorry, maybe not the Cowboys. They actually won their last three football championships. The Ags made theirs up to overcompensate for something.
