Lindy's is due out within a week... I think Phil Steele will release his in June.

TN could be that high, but they've proven an inability to close the deal....they won't stay that high for long

You literally have no idea if this is true or not...no one on here does
you won 9 games last year, just like we did
ETA: FWIW, id rather start around 15-20 and work our way up

Exactly. Does anyone have Butch Jones' record against ranked teams? He's such a joke.

That's all we can do. Im not going to sit here and tell you were going to go 12-0 next season, because that's unrealistic. But I can say that we have the talent, experience, depth, schedule (get through the first tough stretch with a loss or 2 and easy sailing from then on out), setup (with all the coaching changes and player attrition around the East this season) to do very well this year. Will we? Who knows.

How many did you lose?
I agree w you know one knows how UT will do and y'all have the peices in place for something special, but your 9 win jab got to me. You do know our game vs Mcneese st was cancelled right?
If your game vs western Carolina was cancelled would you think it logical for another school (all play cup cakes) like an A&M to talk shite to you about having 8 wins just like you?

VOLS as consensus #7 seems fair to me. That tells me most see Tennessee as I do, one of the top 4 or 5 most talented teams in the country and should be bonafide playoff contenders but cautious due to track record of the past decade

I think we should be more in the 13 range. I don't think our preseason rank should be above OSU, Mich, Mich St, etc. (although I think we'll finish top 10, hopefully top 5)
