Agreed.

I think Auburn could upset them in Week 2 just as I think Florida will upset Michigan in Week 1.

Clemson obviously has talent. But I have a hard time thinking they'll be able to replace all that talent with very little drop-off. Their schedule is easy enough that they may have a good year. But they aren't national championship calibur this season. And starting them in the Preseason Top 5 suggests they are in the hunt.

I think UGA belongs more in the 20-25 range. Unless Eason takes a big step forward they won't be a top 15 team.

He could make that step, but until I see it I'll remain skeptical of a 13 ranking

I think our schedule is favorable enough that we could have a good year. We get MSU from the West. Notre Dame looks beatable. The East as usual looks rather weak.

With a bit of luck, I think we can win 10 games.

I agree with you, I was expecting a lot more from Eason in Spring, and he showed some better play later in the game but I can understand the concern. I thought your backup looked a better but with some errors which would be expected. He is mobile and looked more lively in the pocket with a good arm.

My concern for Auburn is how effective our OLine will be. I think we have some talent and some decent depth, but I will be curious to see how we perform.

I am also curious how our passing game will all look. Stidham is a top tier passer and I feel we have some talented receivers, but will we have improved routes?

My only final question is at Safety. Depth is thin and hoping we can play solid there for pass D and run support.

Texas university clearly deserves to be ranked after going 5-7, 5-7, 5-7 the last three years and firing their coach and losing their qb.

Clemson, Penn State and USC rated too high.

I think UGA on paper is good at #13, but Chaney makes them more of a 20-23 type team.

Auburn will be a top 5 team

Michigan will struggle this year, I could see 3-4 loses

Alabama, FSU and Ohio State are the top 3 teams in 2018 without a doubt

Ranked in these in 2014 (6-7), 2015 (5-7), and 2016 (5-7).

They never learn.

Losing ones QB is a terrible thing.

Still haven't lost more than 5 games in a season since joining the SEC. What's your excuse?

Yes. Seems that many Auburners choose to believe that our OL with little to no experience at set/new position or unit cohesion will gel right off the bat as a whole.

Not me.
