Finally got a chance to make it to Athens. Definitely believe you have the best college town in the SEC. A great environment. I will say overall your fans were very good people, lots of sportsmanship and friendly trash talking. There was your few bad apples (mainly college students) but every school has that. Would definitely say the best road trip I have taken yet. Congrats on the win it was definitely a shoot out. Hope we meet again in Atlanta until then good luck the rest of the way!

Classy post, thanks. I expected a shootout but I thought the roles would be reversed; I did not count on our defense being able to stop your running game. Both QB's were outstanding and the difference in the game turned out to be that 55 yard field goal by Marshall Morgan and the defensive stop on your last series. The box score reveals to very evenly matched teams with young defenses that will improve as the season progresses.

Good game. I would love to see those two teams play again. It was fun to watch despite the outcome

The difference in this game was home-field advantage. There isn't a doubt in my mind that if the game was in Death Valley, it would have gone the other way.

Two fantastic offenses. Great stadium atmosphere. Good luck Dawgs, hoping for a mulligan in Atlanta.

We definitely need this to have any hope of coming out on top of the West. You guys are set. Good luck in ATL... unless we happen to get there, also.

The difference was both of our lines got manhandled. We still had a chance but the better team won. I thought that fumbled punt was a big game changer also. I'm not sure we would have won but it sure gave UGA back the ole Mo.

A lot of post game meltdown on the LSU-D but not to bad. Exactly what I expected in the game. The bitter pill is we had the game right where we wanted it with the last chance to score and go ahead and did not execute it. Still if there is such a thing it was a quality loss for the Tigers - wont hurt us too bad. IF we do our business from here we will get a rematch in Atlanta.

I can only imagine the meltdown in UGA if Mett had led the winning drive successfully... as it played out he proved himself worthy but UGA got what they wanted.

UGA is all set? You guys crack me up. The only set they have is the tv set they will need to watch the SECCG with. UF might have a say. The only thing the game yesterday proved was what Ive been posting on this board for months: either team has a defense. You win championships with defense....ands you win by out rushing your opponent...case in point yesterday! I sure hope Gurley gets well soon...he is my vote for Heisman.
