Well, technically, they both got 2nd place. But that's as close as anybody besides Arkansas ever gets.
Sweep, again. Wooo. Yes. This is track smacktalk. :dwi:

Any pics of the Arkansas track trophy room? LSU's is phenomenal, but the hogs have so many more sec team titles

Pics of hot track women or GTFO

Cant' find any. We have 40-something national titles. I'd assume the conference titles are pretty outrageous in number.

I thought our track teams were on probation ? I don't care... It's track... Just thought we were in the NCAA's dog house so something something

The National Titles are housed in the new indoor facility and take up most of a wall. This photo isn't even of half of them.
I was walking past the outdoor track last football season and they had a bunch of small awards just sitting on the concrete outside a locker room that looked like they had been there for awhile. I guess you can just leave them laying around like that when you such an obscene number.

What difference does it make if they are on probation or not? Track is one of several secondary sports we've made huge strides in in recent years. The meet went as expected with Arky and Ole Miss going 1-2. Girls maybe bumped up a spot higher than expected.

It will be interesting to see how the teams do at the Nationals. The women's team has been red hot so far in cross country and it would be nice to bump off arch-rival Oregon again.
Also WTF happened to the LSU track programs? Historically they have been great but both the men and women finished way back at this meet.

24 out of 26 is impressive in any sport.
Now we ask, if we can run good on golf courses and through the woods and on the track.
Why can't we run good on the football field?

LSU has never had a good CC program. LSU is all sprints, relays, jumps, and throws.

Guess you'll have to wait until track season. These are different teams.

That is good to hear, the conference can really use LSU competing at a high level in track.

easier to find little dudes and ladies that can run than it is to find big dudes that can run
Are cornerbacks bigger than cross country guys I wonder?
Maybe one of these dudes could have run down that Auburn guy on the first play from scrimmage last week since he more or less ran cross country

Uh yeah. It's two completely different body types.
