Must be the lighting. There are actually 5 non white girls on the team...the one on the far left, the 2 in the middle holding the basketball (daughters of the assistant coach standing almost right behind them), and the 2 on the far right.

I could be wrong.....#1 could be white. I have always assumed she was a very light skinned black when I watched their games.

Perhaps it isn't fashion at all, or related to a rejection of carpet munching tendencies, and is actually a socioeconomic statement that strong girls will have strong hair.
Not hair dictated to them by conglomerates of corporations but, by themselves and their clingy, momager, cougar mothers.

I watched her play tonight, how can you not think #1 is white? The whole team is pretty casper except for 2 who look mixed and one who looks black.

#4's dad is standing right behind her in the picture. #21 is her sister. #23 is black. As is #15, obviously.

if you want to go down that road tho, 4 players out of 14 is 28.57% of the team, which for somebody who watches SEC w Basketball "seems" to be the whitest team in the conference. If you want to go all sandy vag on this then find me a team in the SEC with fewer black w basketball players.
