Congrats Auburn on a huge hire that was much needed.

He will be much better strategically. Plus a significant increase in recruiting on the defensive side of the ball. Well done, I'm impressed.

I hate auburn and love it!

Don't fill their heads with confusion. They know deep down you think they're going to get bent over and are pondering why you would give a compliment. It's too skeptical man, just out yourself. You know they suck and will next year too. Chump's defenses against saban sucks a wenier.

Thanks. We definitely needed to move in a new direction on that side of the ball. I don't think we could have done any better.

Really wished things hadn't turned out the way they did at UF for Boom....he just had a spate of bad luck, Hamburger Charlie as his first year OC and the next two OCs couldn't bridge the gap. He recruited great defensive talent...but the offense led to his leaving. 2013 we had injuries Lombardi couldn't have overcome.

He was well respected by those who worked with him and knew him. The man knows defense and we will be facing him on the opposite sideline much too soon Im afraid.

There are no miracles on the football field.

CWM is a really good coach, but some of our defensive problems were lack of talent and lack of effort.

He will recruit well so the talent issue should improve over time. Effort problem will be solved quicker- either go all out or go home.

I thought the same thing. I thought it would be more of a personality clash that would cause issues though. Next year should be interesting

Roof had decent defenses. He left the sinking ship that was Chiz.

Ellis lost something, I thought he was a good hire, but his defense cost us a Nattie.
coach Spurrior showed everyone how to attack his defense.

This was a home run hire.

It's going to be a crazy chess match next year and I can't wait to watch! Lane vs Boom is going to take on a rivalry within the asst coach rankings

I picture this chess match taking place in a palace. Instead of a table, the chess board is resting on our backs as we lie there quietly waiting for death.

Ellis did not cost us that game. If any one unit cost us that game it was special teams. Stop saying stupid things.
