I agree with all your picks. UF/Ark may go the other way, should be a good game.

Our game might be close as well.

UK and A&M are the only 2 I feel really confident about. I could see any of the other 3 going the other way but it is so hard to win on the road in this conference. Auburn is young and a little bipolar so I could see us laying an egg.

I see what you are trying to do.

I too guarantee we will be 0-1.

I mean ha yeah sometimes I'd try the reverse jinx, but I'm serious.

I've finally reached my limit with Fox, he just isn't any good and if I had my way we'd go ahead and fire him and start looking for a replacement. We might have a talent edge over AU, maybe, but pearl is going to coach circles around fox.

I like Arkansas in our game with Egbunu out. Hannahs lit us up for 33 last year.

I like Fox as a coach and you can't question his ability to evaluate talent but I think he is a better fit at a smaller program. Other than KCP he hasn't been able to land any high profile players and that shouldn't happen in a state that produces as much high level talent as Georgia.

He has some plusses in his favor, but as someone who has watched just about every game he's coached here...the substitution patterns that continue to border on retarded after EIGHT YEARS lead me to believe that he's never going to "get it". He also refuses to call desperately needed timeouts when the time calls for it, we continue to have 5-6 minute spurts in seemingly every game without a made FG, he refuses to play TFr in favor of upperclassmen lots of times, he is way too stubborn with switching up his defense, we still after 8 years can hardly break a press, etc..

Not sure about that. Certainly he's gotten his fair share of good players but rarely does his coaching improve them. With guys like KCP or Yante..those guys were going to ball out regardless of who their coach was. And sure there's the occasional diamond in the rough like JJ Frazier that wasn't very heralded that has really done great for us. But for every one of those, there's about 3 or 4 others that either came in bad and stayed bad, came in average and stayed average or got worse, or came in herladed and didn't amount to much. Considering the hotbed that ATL basketball is there's no excuse. And yes, I'll admit that in the very recent past he's started to up our recruiting a notch, which is awesome. But it's too little too late IMO.

Either smaller, or somewhere in the midwest where he's been his entire career before UGA.

Bottom line is it's been 8 years, there isn't any uncertainty yet with fox. We know exactly who he is, what we've got, and what he's capable of. And UGA basketball should be doing better than just making the NIT.

Your picks on these two are questionable. UF-Arkie should be a good one, but picking LSU in ANY conference game this year is going out on a limb.

It's at home and the games I've seen Vandy struggled to score. I'm aware that that JJ doesn't seem overly concerned with coaching defense so they will score some points but at home in a shootout I like LSU.
