I knew they were good in Gym, didn't know about golf and softball.
Now I do

Revenue numbers were way off, so I didn't waste my time looking at anything else. It also had statistical categories that have absolutely jack squat to do with being a good athletic program.

Alabama as an overall athletic program better than UF?

LSU's athletic program top to bottom is excellent outside of the basketball program and swimming. Honestly I wish we'd discontinue swimming, huge fricking mess. Basketball needs to start over for both men and women.
I wouldn't mind the men's tennis coach being fired, volleyball too. they're inconsistent.
eta: LSU definitely doesn't have the third best athletic program, but I'll take it

Tennessee fans do not look up the details on your school or you'll be really upset.

Are you kidding me? Very few programs are better than UF's. Certainly none in the SEC.
I spit up a bit when I read that. I still can't stop laughing. Believe what you want. If it's on the internet it has to be true

Did you really link a list that has Bama @ #1 AND says they only have 3 football titles?

The revenue #'s are hilariously off. Might as well be an SDS list.

Damn there are a lot of stupid people in this thread.
If you look at the rating criteria, the goal is to identify the college campuses where athletics play the biggest role in student/university life since 2000.
It's nothing more than a tally of certain specific categories. They are very clearly laid out so that even the most casual jort wearer can figure them out.
The only "other sports" even considered are soccer, hockey, baseball/softball.
Revenues are not from the current year. Championships don't include those from the current school year.
Student surveys, conference revenue, division revenue, and program revenue are the most heavily weighted. Football NC's are next which is where UA edged out UF.
