SEC schools take nine of the top twenty most valuable teams according to Forbes.

1. Texas Longhorns, $131 million
2. Notre Dame Fighting Irish, $122 million
3. Michigan Wolverines, $117 million
4. Alabama Crimson Tide, $107 million
5. LSU Tigers, $103 million
6. Auburn Tigers, $97 million
7. Tennessee Volunteers, $94 million

8. Oklahoma Sooners, $93 million
9. Ohio State Buckeyes, $87 million
10. Georgia Bulldogs, $83 million
11. Florida Gators, $82 million

12. Penn State Nittany Lions, $80 million
13. Texas A&M Aggies, $78 million
14. Washington Huskies, $77 million
15. Nebraska Cornhuskers, $73 million
T16. South Carolina Gamecocks, $72 million
T16. Michigan State Spartans, $72 million
18. Arkansas Razorbacks,$71 million
19. USC Trojans, $69 million

Expect A&M to climb high once the new Kyle Field money starts coming in. Premium seating increases a shite load.

And of course expect all of the SEC to go up once the SECN money starts coming in. The again climb once the CBS deal is up.

We all going to be rich.

So the LA Clippers are worth 15 times more than Texas football...or 20 times more than LSU, what a joke...These valuations are grossly understated.

No, I think you're underestimating the NBA's brand, it's international. People From Russia, China, Brazil, to Turkey know who the Clippers are, and have access to their games.

College football is regional, and outside of one's home state mostly worthless.

Thats a good point but with satellite TV all sports are becoming more globalized. The Clippers generate about the same gross revenue (128 million) and far less profit (15 million) than Texas or many other college football programs for that matter...
