i last went in '09 for our fri game when we were ranked #1 and there werent more than a 1,000. Saturday night against rice there was 20,000. LSU-TCU and A&M-TCU should pull 10,000+

There's talk here of LSU reviving the old Winn Dixie challenge in the Dome going again. On those yrs when LSU does not go to Houston (every other year as it stands now). It was the 3 La. schools, UNO, tulane, & LSU vs 3 teams from Miss....The Black Bears, Moo St. and S.Miss...or Alabama...bama, AU, S.Ala. Skip shut it down when the tulane A.D. got greedy & wanted a bigger share of the gate. Was always 3 days of great college baseball with no rain outs or bad weather.

Going to all 9 games. With every team being ranked except Baylor, every game should be a good one. Hopefully the SEC shows out!!

Where should I go for Mexican foo? Probably for lunch on Saturday before our game at 3:30. Preferably with good drinks/atmosphere/outdoor patio if the weather is nice, but mainly I just want good texas mexican food. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Also, brewery/bar recs are appreciated. We are staying on Main street, so right now we are thinking just the places around there so we can walk or take a very short Uber.

My favorite texmex spot is Ninfa's on Navigation. Its the original Ninfa's and nothing like the chain. Its just on the other side of 69 from the ballpark. El Tiempo is over there too. Its damn good too.

My two favorite breweries near downtown are St Arnolds and 8th Wonder. Both have a wide variety of good to great beers. Flying saucer is a good on Main St with loads of beers on tap. Lucky's or Little Woodrows are decent spots to hit up before or after the girls and its close to the park. They're just sports bars, but its better than the home plat bar across the street from MMP.

The old Busch Classic/Winn Dixie Classic in the Dome was great.

But I thought with the new seating configuration the Dome can't be used for baseball anymore.
