Which would you take to coach your team out of these one hit MNC wonders?

Horrible thread.

Tressel, Fulmer and Brown have all had long term success. Why would anyone not want to have multiple ten win seasons and multiple opportunities to win conference championships?

I would go with Tressel - he went to three BCS games. Good enough.

Coker- bled out Miami.

Chizik- turned Auburn into a drug haven.

Fulmer- knows the SEC

Brown- game has passed him by

Tressel is a better coach than Auburn, both MS schools, UK, and TN all have now.

Fulmer is more of a coach than the rest of them put together.

Who would UA have wanted from 1983-2008?

Tressel and Fulmer weren't exactly one hit wonders. They both had successful runs at their respective schools. I guess coaches like Spurrier and Stoops should be lumped into this category as well.

I'd take Mack Brown over Coker and Chizik, though.

No doubt, great coach....though some genius might call him a one hit wonder.

Yeah, in the Big Lame 10. Not that impressive.

Fulmer has a 152-52 record and is in the college football hall of fame. I wouldn't call that a one hit wonder. By the way he was 10-4-1 against bama.

Good move firing him for Kiffin, IMO.
