Of all the SEC teams, I'd say Gus and Sumlin are in the greatest need of a big season. I don't think Butch Jones is in any real trouble. Maybe Kentucky's coach gets fired if they have another bad year.

Nick Saban. If he goes 4-8 it wouldn't be pretty.

I feel like Les must win THIS year. No one can deny it looked bad for him this last season.

It was the blowouts against Arkansas and ole miss that looked bad. If we had bounced back in those two games only the mouth breather portion of the LSU fan base would want him fired.

Obviously continually losing to bama sucks, but if we aren't at Bamas level that only means we have something common with 125 other college football teams. If not being as good as Saban was a fireable offense there would no other coaches in college football.

I think Les is a fine coach and a good man..I like the guy it is hard not to. He just came along at a bad time. If it were not for Alabama LSU very likely would be the one mentioned when dynasty is talked about.

The reason I say what I do is the hatred for Nick Saban amongst the LSU Nation. Large numbers of them and it is intense. Lose at home this time And I am not sure at all Les can survive it.

Why do I have to go through old posts. I'm right. You're the one that everyone here knows is crazy.

"Beat Bama this year" would be a stupid litmus test for any coach. Alabama is in the middle of a historic dynasty with one of the most talented rosters ever assembled. You can't judge your coach on whether they win that game in any given year.

Malzahn's future will rely on whether he can get the offense back to high end status so that the fans feel confident about the team again. AU fans can handle the mediocre defenses and WTF playcalls as long as the offense makes them believe they can beat anybody on any given day the way they could in 13 and 14.

We will just have to agree to disagree. The Aubs won't stand for a coach that is losing to Alabama.

Yes, any rational person would agree with that.
