Gus Malzahn....he MUST win the IB or it will be 4 out of the last 5 and without a miracle it would be 5 straight.

Les Miles..Les has to beat Bama at home and win the West, or I think they get him this time. I like Les I hate it but I believe it to be true.

Gus Malzahn doesn't have to win the Iron Bowl to keep his job. He just has to win in general. 9-10 games.

If he doesn't get a W, I think we should accept that we'll never be at the forefront of the conference. 5x in a reaux is pretty f'ing sad for a great program.

FWIW, I think he gets the W this year.

Miles could lose to Bama and go 11-1 and not make the SEC Championship. Still wouldn't get fired

Miles could also beat Bama and go 10-2 and not make the SEC Championship and be fine.

Sumlin is on thin ice. If he has more than 3 losses by mid-October, he's gone.

Auburn wins in 13 if it goes to overtime.

Malzahn gets credit for a loss when he coached at Arky State?

Auburn will not tolerate a coach that can't win the Iron Bowl Ask Tommy Tuberville. As long as he could wave those fingers he was safe but one loss and he was finished. Beating Bama made him untouchable despite his other alleged shortcomings but when that shield was down...bam.

He was brought in to stop Saban. And Alabama will have beaten Auburn 4 out of the last 5 and a miracle kept it from 5 straight, I don't care who was coaching.

Tommy Tuberville didn't get fired because he lost to Alabama.

It would sting like hell to lose to Bama again but Les isn't getting fired after ending the regular season 10-2 or 11-1 with losses to better teams.

Yeah, going 5-7 didn't have anything to do with it

You said Gus would get fired this past year if he lost to Bama. He didn't. You're a moron. Bring on the next dumb gump.

No he didn't. They could not fire him until he did. And that is what happened.

Nope. It's not that cut and dried and not that simple. Les is 0-10 in his last ten games as an underdog. He needs to over-perform a bit, but he doesn't have to win any single game or be fired. If he goes 11-1 and loses to Bama it's not like he's going to get shite canned. Please.
