So Charlie Strong makes exactly 100,000 more a year than Sumlin. Is that a direct result of the A&M/Texas rivalry of old? Legitimately curious.

I would think Sumlins seat would be hotter than Miles' though tbh.

Probably because his buyout is bigger than the GDP of some small countries.

Nope. That is just the market value of coaches in our area.

If you remember, Texas was willing to pay Saban $10 million a year. Yet in Alabama he makes a little over $8 million a year. Heck Les Miles would make over $7 million a year if he coached a Texas team.
