He's recovering from a stroke and heart attack. He was able to go to the TAM and Bama game. They were honoring his 1967 team at halftime.

had a heart attack in the middle of the week and was still able to go to football game on Saturday

He came out at the aTm game in a golf cart. Had someone on each arm making sure he didn't fall while he was standing up.

I heard an interview he had about playing for Bear Bryant. He said, “I never wanted to quit, but I wanted to die.... I thought about it every day.” Total bad a**!
