You guys should hire Javi Sanchez and David Grewe for your baseball program. Also, get Trent Johnson on staff. I
The problem is, I don't think we can get the guys.
Once I have seen a dozen respected LSU posters tell me these coaches will NEVER leave LSU THEN I will feel comfortable that A&M can poach them.

That gif looks more like the offensive meltdown ya'll have had the past 4yrs of getting your shite pushed in by LSU

Oh yeah. You burned me. You guys have all that false bravado because you are scared of what it might mean if Chavis can't fix the systemic problems with the defense. We all know if the defense isn't better this year, Sumlin will have finally run out of excuses. What will that mean for the program's future, I'm not sure.
What I do know is what happened to Texas. They stopped being able to keep the Y from rushing for 500 yards on them. They tried plugging in coordinators. It didn't work.
They used to have 24 recruits signed by now. Go check out 247. Texas is at 45 right now. That may have never happened before. If A&M has to move on from Sumlin, they will subject themselves to the mandatory first year recruiting class dip. If it can happen to Texas and keep spiraling down, it can happen to anyone. Even LSU. In this case, if Chavis can't get it done, it will happen to aggy.

We overpay some other coach to lead the Noble Men of Kyle. Its not a hard problem to solve when you are A&M-level rich.

Actually most new coaches have a first year recruiting bump as they sell the newness of their program and their reputations. Charlie got a top 15 class his first year at Texas despite doing crap in recruiting since then.
You really don't know what you are talking about.

A top 15 class at Texas is a dip. They had the number 2 class the year before. Come on, guy. Also, no most schools do not see a bump. That's unequivocally false. Outliers might see a bump, but by and large it is a dip.

After reading the Saban/Hillary fricking Rodham Clinton thread, I fully expected another politically charged thread that would elicit thoughtful conversation. But then I realized that this involved Coach O.

And barely a top 20 class the year before that. 15 is right about where Brown averaged across his Texas career.

Most TOP programs sometimes don't see a bump because a new coach meant failure and like a fart often it takes a bit for the air to clear.
But MOST programs are not top programs, of the 100+ teams 90% of them see a bump with a new coach if that coach is competent because there is excitement about the program due to the hire.
This is common knowledge for anyone who doesn't just root for frontrunners.

During his 16-year career in Austin, Brown signed an average top-10 recruiting class, according to Rivals, and helped lead 59 Longhorns to the NFL draft. Brown earned the name "Coach February" due to his vast success signing the top football prospects.

There is a good football based reason why Sean Payton ran Orgeron off after one season coaching on the Saints D.
Orgeron is a recruiter, thats it. LSU didn't need a recruiter.
