Can someone please explain how Orgeron got labeled a great recruiter?

Miami - convinced thugs to play for Jimmy Johnson (with help from Nevin Shapiro?) not a tough job

USC - recruiting coordinator of the year (got Reggie Bush with "great dorm rooms")

Ole Miss - got Michael Oher (Tuohy?) only other star was braindead DL from Waynesboro who committed to everybody.

Tennessee - got old friend's son away from LSU with job offer

None of those 'gets' where tough.

Les Miles got five star black qb from Southern California to switch from USC, etc. to go to downtrodden Colorado! That's a recruiter!

I bleed purple and even stayed loyal through Curly, and I'm behind CEO 100%, but I still don't get the reputation.

You are just dense as all hell. O had a major impact at bringing talent into Miami, USC and LSU. I hate his hire. But you are just ignorant

If Oregon stays at L6U for 10 years like Miles did, we will have even more success aginst yall than we did for the past 10. Yall will be L16U.

I am ignorant as to what effect he had. That's why I asked for enlightenment. Can you be more specific.

I like Coach O. I just don't see how he gained the label of great recruiter. Selling pussy on a troop train is easy. I want to see him selling ice cubes to eskimos.

I agree he might not be a great recruiter, but your argument has holes.

Miami...pretty sure Nevin wasn't involved at the time.

I would be more worried about the shite shows that follows
him where ever he's been. Miami, USC, Tenn., now Ole Miss. I wonder what waits for LSU.

If he is smart enough to sign more than one DE per year, then he is a better recruit than Gus Malzahn.

He's known as a great recruiter because he is a great recruiter and everyone in coaching knows this is true. What the hell are you talking about?

He's turning tricks for players.

And giving them luxury SUVs.

Coach O's biggest strength in recruiting was identifying talent in the 2/3 star pool.

Most of Ole Miss' NFL talent came from guys all 3-stars or less (Mike Wallace, Greg Hardy, Kendrick Lewis, Dexter McCluster).

Billy Mays, you're only talking Coach O up because you're his well-articulated half brother.
